Our Corporate Experience Goes a Long Way!

Elle Koch – McVay

President: Investment Recovery Services International
Education: Business and Accounting

For ten years Elle Koch was the Investment Recovery Process Owner for Procter & Gamble for North America. Before leaving Procter and Gamble she expanded her role to Global Process Owner for Investment Recovery based on outstanding performance and results within North America. Elle brings with her, capital purchasing experience, Internet marketing skills, and comprehensive knowledge of the Investment Recovery and Asset Recovery Industry. She has earned a respected position in the external marketplace and has developed a broad-based network of used equipment dealers, brokers, re-builders, re-manufacturers and end users of surplus equipment. Before leaving Procter & Gamble, she developed and successfully deployed Procter & Gamble’s internal marketplace model. Based on sustained performance in her role, she was given one of the highest awards that Procter & Gamble had to offer – P&G Recognition Shares.

Her responsibilities included managing surplus asset disposition for plant shutdowns, consolidations, demolition projects, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as it relates to the internal reuse of assets or the external sale of assets via negotiated sales and managing auctions. The cash flow from the external sale of assets directly impacts the bottom line of the organization. Managing downstream liabilities and acting as gatekeeper of proprietary information and equipment is a critical element to be considered. Upon leaving Procter & Gamble, Ms Koch was offered a consulting position with IMark.com. Her unique Investment Recovery Experience and knowledge was instrumental for this organic start-up. Ultimately, IMark was purchased by Freemarkets. It was a growing and learning time for everyone in the “Dot-Com” bubble.

Elle was once again tapped to become the President and co-founder of BSurplus.com, a premier business-to-business Internet based Total Surplus Asset Management Solution. The Dot.Com world was exploding with opportunity in 2000. Our focus was to provide asset management solutions to our clients and their service providers. Eventually it was time to take all of that experience and trial and error learning curves to the next level of true entrepreneurship and ownership. Investment Recovery Services International is a 100% woman owned business. And when it comes to surplus….she means business!
